General information
The PRIZMA Foundation for the Improvement of Employment Opportunities was established as a foundation and, in July 2011, in accordance with the Labour Market Regulation Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 80/10), became the legal successor of the Regional Labour Fund Podravje (RSDP), which was founded in 2000 as a non-profit institution for the implementation of active labour market policies. The PRIZMA Foundation brings together national, local, private, and EU funds with the aim of preventing unemployment, preserving jobs, and creating new employment opportunities in the Podravje region.
Together with social partners, the PRIZMA Foundation promotes job creation and reduces unemployment rates, making a significant contribution to improving the socio-economic situation in the region. It is one of the key regional actors in increasing employment opportunities for redundant workers and unemployed persons, as well as in encouraging their reintegration into the labour market.
The activities of the PRIZMA Foundation are focused on supporting unemployed persons and companies in workforce restructuring and in the preparation of workforce restructuring programmes, human resources development plans, and employee training plans. The Foundation’s activities primarily focus on career planning counselling, (self-)employment, lifelong learning, mentoring, the improvement of competences and skills through training, and other support measures for redundant workers and unemployed persons.
