Digital Creators 2024

The idea and vision of the project are to create and implement a comprehensive program of workshops and activities that contribute to increasing the digital inclusion of the population of the Republic of Slovenia. The aim of the project is for every individual—regardless of age, gender, or prior knowledge—to acquire basic digital competences and the confidence to use digital technologies in everyday life as well as in the professional sphere.

The project’s potential lies in its comprehensive approach and adaptability to different target groups. By combining practical workshops, interactive lectures, mentoring, and online resources, it enables participants to learn basic digital skills, develop their abilities, and acquire knowledge that is essential for successful participation in the digital age. The project creates an environment in which participants feel motivated and supported in their learning, while creativity, innovation, and collaboration are encouraged.

FREE workshops
are intended for children and young people aged 6 to 29.

Workshop: DIGITAL WIZARDS

Fundacija Prizma is one of the training providers within the consortium and has developed an innovative training program called Digital Wizards.

The training is intended for pupils from grades 1 to 5 and focuses on strengthening children’s digital competences and promoting science and technical professions. Within the workshops, pupils explore the world of robotics and programming using KUBO robots and LEGO Education kits. Through a playful approach, we introduce them to logical and computational thinking and present professions of the future. The program is based on the gradual learning of various aspects of information technology and digital competences that are important for children, and it also includes content related to safety, communication, creativity, and problem-solving.
