General Information

The PRIZMA Foundation for the Improvement of Employment Opportunities was established in July 2011, in accordance with the Employment Relationship Regulation Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 80/10), as the legal successor of the Podravje Regional Labour Fund (RSDP). RSDP was founded in 2000 as a non-profit institution dedicated to the implementation of active labour market policies. The PRIZMA Foundation combines national, local, private, and EU funds with the aim of preventing unemployment, preserving existing jobs, and creating new employment opportunities in the Podravje region.

In cooperation with social partners, the PRIZMA Foundation promotes job creation and the reduction of unemployment rates, thereby making a significant contribution to improving the socio-economic situation in the region. It is one of the key regional stakeholders in increasing employment opportunities for redundant workers and unemployed persons, as well as in supporting their reintegration into the labour market.

The activities of the PRIZMA Foundation focus on providing support to unemployed persons and companies in workforce restructuring processes, including the preparation of workforce restructuring programmes, human resources development plans, and employee training plans. The Foundation’s work is primarily oriented towards career guidance, (self-)employment support, lifelong learning, mentoring, and the development of competences and skills through training, as well as other supportive measures for redundant workers and unemployed persons.
