Digital Creators 2023

The idea and vision of the project were to create and implement a comprehensive program of workshops and activities that would contribute to increasing the digital inclusion of the population of the Republic of Slovenia. The aim of the project was for every individual—regardless of age, gender, or prior knowledge—to acquire basic digital competences and the confidence to use digital technologies in everyday life as well as in the professional sphere.

The project’s potential lay in its comprehensive approach and its adaptability to different target groups. By combining practical workshops, interactive lectures, mentoring, and online resources, it enabled participants to learn basic digital skills, develop their abilities, and acquire knowledge that is essential for successful participation in the digital age. The project created an environment in which participants felt motivated and supported in their learning, while creativity, innovation, and collaboration were actively encouraged.

were intended for children and young people aged 6 to 29.

Workshop: DIGITAL WIZARDS

Within the consortium, Fundacija Prizma was one of the training providers and developed an innovative training program called Digital Wizards.

The training was intended for pupils from grades 1 to 5 and focused on strengthening children’s digital competences as well as promoting science and technical professions. Through the workshops, pupils entered the world of robotics and programming using KUBO robots and LEGO Education kits. Through a playful approach, we introduced them to logical and computational thinking and presented professions of the future. The program is based on the gradual learning of various aspects of information technology and digital competences that are important for children, and it also includes content related to safety, communication, creativity, and problem-solving.
